Joseph,

I understand that some people have been able to stretch the OEM hose to
3-1/2 inches, which is the OD of the 80mm MAF outlet. However, I'm a wimp
and couldn't get the hose to stretch that much, so I had a few 3-1/4" x
3-1/2" adapters made up by an old machinist friend that needed the work. We
used 3-1/2" aluminum pipe (see attached photo). The OEM hose fits the 3-1/4"
diameter nicely, and I used 3-1/2" ID coolant hose from the adapter to the
80mm MAF. In the second photo you can see the final result, with the 3-1/2"
hose overlapping the OEM hose on the adapter and both clamped with the same
hose clamp.

I have two more adapters available, if anyone is interested.

PS. An X-acto (sp?) saw works great for cutting the OEM hose, especially
when the hose is clamped around a snug fitting mandrel of some sort (my
adapter, for example).
