[Shotimes] hard start

Interesting. We've had similar issues, but generally just priming the pump
does the trick. As a habit now I turn the key on, wait till I hear the pump
stop, then start it. But like you, a few times this hasn't done it and it
seems that it's not going to start. So I finally floor it and it starts up
pretty quick. Is there a switch of some sort that is telling the computer
that the engine isn't getting fuel and when we floor it the switch trips?
