Well, they don't!!
0.4 is lighter than 0.5 #s, or at least as I learned in school!! ;-)
Anyway, the slicer caps don't come with pickles, lettuce, mayo, etc, plus a
bun, so I suspect that they would feel lighter.
Hint for all: More weight to be saved by picking lighter-weight tires than
spending big $$$ on lightweight wheels!!
