You need someone who can weld aluminum. You may also need to remove the
trans from the car to do this (I've had at least 2 friends break or mung
this boss up and nobody wanted to touch it unless it came out of the
car). One of those friends had his reinforced with extra aluminum. He
will have to helicoil, and tap and thread the boss again for the
stabilizer bolt.
Good luck. Make sure you get to it before it breaks off.

I got up under the car. The support rod for the shifter to the tranny
has issues, the actual rod that does the shifting is fine. Where the
support rod actually screws into the tranny is messed up. The rod isn't
messed up, but the hole on the tranny where the screw goes in is cracked
in half and the screw has part of the tranny hole housing (for lack of
better words...) stuck to it pretty good. Since this is happening when
I try to shift the linkage is moving all around. Anyone think loctite
or welding could be a solution? Please let me know your opinions on
this. If welding is possible, should i use copper or what? I have a
couple of uncles (well 2 i trust) who could weld fine I'm sure.
