Start messing around with a car that they still make parts for :)
I have no future SHO motor plans other than ones that will always use stock
cams, so the sizes that typically fall in with stock cams, are pretty common
(at least I got plenty of good used or new in those sizes). It's the really
thin or really thick ones that will be hard to get (for aftermarket cam
grinds).
Besides, a healthy SHO at 60k, or 120k, or even 180k won't need more than a
couple usually.
