[Shotimes] valve lash question

According to Doug Lewis there are a significant number of SHO's that the
secondary throttle butterflies tick at an idle. I have personally seen two
of them. You can get the ticking to stop temporarily by pushing on the
throttle stop with a screwdriver. If the noise stops, it kinda narrows
things down! He further said that there is no fix for this problem but that
it isn't harmful, just annoying!

Jim,
I've never heard of that. What happens?
