[Shotimes] Fuel Milage

On my recent trip down to NYC and back I got 29mpg over a 600 mile timespan.
I filled up before I left, then put in ~9 gallons in NJ on the way home.
Then drove around for my week, then filled up. The trip wot the city and
back was about 300 miles round trip, so the other 300 mi was a mix of
highway and some stop and go. This is after I got my LPM in. When I head to
FL I'm hopping that I'll see 29-32mpg on the highway. I think with 93
octane, fresh 60k tuneup, and a LPM low 30's on an MTX drive conservatively
should be possible.
I never downshift for braking, less its something I have to stop quick for.
I think it's amazing that for the $150 in parts for my 60k (no wires yet)
and the other $150 I spent on my LPM that I can get such amazing mileage
outta my SHO. I find it hard pressed for many new cars to give real world
numbers for MPG while matching our HP/TQ numbers at the same time. Granted
when I get on my car alot I'll see 20mpg or less. When I get to the point of
getting an EEC tuner I think that I could play around a little more and get
even better mileage. I'd love to have a bunch of different loadable configs,
a HP/TQ one, a good balance one, and a great mileage one.But I think the
need for a tuner is a good while away, unless I can get one for a good
price.
