That's pretty much how I did mine.  The earlier recommendation to use some
sort of lube on the new bearings is VERY important.  I used 5W-30 engine oil
to coat the bearings when installing them, and in hindsight I probably
should have used real engine assembly lube.  I've had no problems though in
15K+ miles.
