[Shotimes] hesitation

HI all, I have a 91 sho with 146k on it. When I pull off from a stop there
is a clunk and a hesitation before it takes off. Replaced : motor/trans
mounts,
Sub frame bushings, drivers side shaft. I find I must give it more gas to 
Move, where as a month ago to accelerate was effortless. The old plugs 
Had a lot of carbon ( finally installed motor craft plugs ) old plugs were 
Bosch plat. 4+. You can smell the cats when you go over 40 mph.
I know I have more than one problem, but any insight on any or all
Possibilities would be a help.
