[Shotimes] Quick informal survey of Mobil 1 users

Got the '93MTX new and went to Mobil 1 at the first oil change. Used a few
other kinds of synth on and off, but mostly 10w30 M1. Sure it leaks a bit
but nothing that appears to be major. After 280k, the rod bearings are, I
think still in good shape. A few months ago, I was passing a SOB minivan
that sped up as I got close, so I had to keep my foot in it. Hit the rev
limiter in third and since the road was clear, close to that in fourth!
High stress and still no problems.

Got the '95MTX with 47k. Now has 254k. Have been running 10w30 M1 ever
since I got it. It leaks a fair amount more than the '93MTX and frequently
uses a quart in 900 miles. At the last 2 conventions, it ran a lot of track
time and hardly used any oil, but the hills of West Virginia and
Pennsylvania used a full quart. Figure that it is the valve guides. But I
oil analysis (several) tells me that the rod bearings are in good shape, so
I am keeping with M1. Even at $4+/qt. M1 is a whole lot cheaper than new
valve guides or rod bearings.
