Once and for all, I hope....
The brake upgrade IS from the 96 SHO. ALL SHO. The mention
of continental on SHOtimes is JUST because there are a lot
more continentals in junk yards and the parts are more
likely to be on the shelves of Ford dealers than the SHO parts!
The 96 "upgrade" started life as ALL parts (caliper bracket
and disk, or hub, lower suspension arm, caliper etc) from
the SHO, 1994 through 1999. (lower suspension arm and hub
from 94/95 SHO for those older cars upgrading.
SO, again.../
96 brake upgrade was ALL SHO from the start, and can still
be, it is just you can do cross shopping from the
Continental parts bin to make finding stuff easier...same parts.
