Basically, then, your SHO should never be higher than 3rd gear for that kind
of driving, and 30 mph or less should only be 2nd gear.

There are times that I will drive 400-500 miles and never use 5th gear.

Unfortunately some of us are forced to drive like 
wussies. My 2 mile commute to work is all in 30mph
zones. I've gotten tickets for doing 38mph in a 30!
There's also 5 lights in those 2 miles. Because of
this severe stop and go daily driving, I change 
oil and filter every 1,000 miles...which time wise 
is probably not as often as some of you guys driving
high mieage, high speed commutes.
