IMHO,

I've had 2 different Pro M 77's (borrowed one for a long time) on several of
my SHO's and all of them ran very well with that unit. Throttle tip in was
great. I bought one used for $100 and it's been on the 89 ever since. The
bench flow sheet that came with it is almost spot on the factory 850 kg/hr
curve that's in the EEC/SCtuner table.

I'll probably put a Prom75 in the 92 when the 3.2L goes over there, problem
is if I do a 300 hp 3.4L in the 89, the 850kg ProM 77 really would need to
be re-calibrated, as it would be pegging probably 5 volt.

I've never dyno'd a stock vs ProM77 side by side, but with my 3.0L cam'd
3.2L, I had dyno'd 197 ft/lb/202hp with a stock MAF, PP ypipe, and UDP's
(stock catback.). Next dynojet session (same car/motor) I added the Pro M
77 MAF and dynocrap catback, and the number jumped to 215 tq/216 hp. Tal
Isbel (guy who let me borrow his old 77mm for a long while) picked up 6
ft/lbs and 7 hp IIRC on his 89.

Another interesting thing, is if you lean out the WOT fuel tables in the EEC
with the tuner (factory are pig rich at high rpm) set a target for 13.0:1
A/F ratio (best for n/a power) you can actually log the injector duty cycle
and watch it slightly decrease. Even-so, at 260 hp or so, I'm getting
around 90% duty cycle, so not much headroom there either. One of these days
I'm gonna switch in the 1 lb/hr bigger 3.2L units in there and play with
them, see what the numbers show.
