In that case, is could be OK as the air velocity will already be high.
The only thing is and I don't know the intake & head design there, but it
could be that the valve is not the limiting factor in that intake stream.
Obviously would also need to look at smoothing the transition to the valve,
and seeing if that will open up anything. If the bigger neckdown is up
higher in the head, more headwork would be needed to make a larger valve
effective.
Sounds like something worth pursuing for a blower/turbo motor, not sure
there's much to be gained (versus the cost) for a n/a street motor.

Ok, but say for instance on a V8 with it's segregated intake valves, if one
was to make the secondary valve bigger. This is only open to the intake
tract above 3400 rpm when the IRM is open.
