[Shotimes] Cooling Fans

Perhaps someone here can help me.  I swapped the dual fan assembly from a 94'
SHO into my 95', but I can only get the fans to cycle with the A/C on.  Even
then, they only cycle for about 30 seconds before shutting off.  They won't
come on at all with the A/C off.

There appears to be a thermostatic switch in the fan shroud for the SHO...
Does anyone know anything about this or it's function?
