I just bought a new house and discovered that the podunk local phone company

only offer ISDN for internet access. I am far enough out in the boonies that

cable isn't available even for just TV viewing. No biggie on that since I
have 
DirecTV.

Anybody have recent experience with ISDN? Should I just bite the bullet and
go 
with satellite internet?
