[Shotimes] OT - ISDN Anyone?

I'll tell you right now Satellite is by far better than ISDN. The fastest
you'll ever get your ISDN up to, and this is with paying for a double
connection, is 4 times the speed of a 56k dial-up modem. At this point, Sat
is going to be around the same price if not a little cheaper in the long
run. With ISDN you have to pay "Ma' Bell" between $20 and $40 a month for
the ISDN line, then you have to pay an ISP to let you get online. If you
want to use a double connection, they're going to charge you for TWO
accounts. This doesn't include fees for per-minute charges, taxes, etc.
With Sat you just pay one bill from one company, your service is a LOT
easier to setup, and it's faster, MUCH faster.

Of course, as soon as cable comes to your area you'll switch to that. <G>
