[Shotimes] aftermarket strut mounts

I was just looking on rockauto.com for front strut mounts and found a couple 
of non motorcraft mounts. Has anyone had any experience with non-oem mounts 
or strut bearings, or are they generaly avoided for any specific reason? 
Secondly is on the rockauto page under a 1991 Taurus SHO they have a section 
for "shocks-strut cushion/mount" were they list a moog part k8630 upper 
strut mounting assembly (with exploded view under the more info button), 
then under another section titled "strut mounts" where they have a dorman 
part 665304 strut mount(no exploded view.) The difference is about 10 
dollars with the dorman part being the cheaper of the two. My question is if 
anyone knows if there is difference betweem the sets? When I called rockauto 
they didnt seem to know.
