I can't remember what kind of mounts I got from NAPA. Probably Moog.
The mount and bearing come together. In the end, my car sat higher after
I got it all put back together. Knowing what I know now, I would have
spent the extra money and waited a little longer for the Ford parts from
Shonut. My theory is that the aftermarket didn't want to mess around
with the different bearing and mount combinations like the factory did,
and just picked one. The wrong one for me I guess. In fact, the parts
came with a spacer almost 3/8" thick. I'm sure glad I didn't use that!
For those who remember (or care) about this originally, I have determined
that the ATX springs I put in my MTX account for an almost negligible part
of the increased ride height. The estimates of the additional weight of
the
ATX averaged about 150 lbs. With my 250 lbs. sitting in the middle of the
hood, the car only sinks about 1/4". So the bulk of the almost 1"
increase
is in my estimation due to the mounts.
