In my 1993 SHO, I have a radio that is apparently not stock, but it is a Ford
item.It is an AM/FM/CD with the AM section having stereo capability. Last week, the
radio stopped working and the radio display showed "BAD". I understand that there
is a way to initialize the self-test feature to see a presentation of the code
messages. Can you help? Often, Ford has a technique in which you press a series of
keys on the radio and that enables the TEST mode.

Any info?

Don Antilla is a good friend in New England whom I've helped with struts in the
past. He has one of those AM stereo factory radios that now has a problem. Does
anyone know how to troubleshoot them, in the same manner one can troubleshoot the
EATC. Seeing as how I don't fool with factory radios, I don't know anything about
it.

Does anyone out there have any experience with these AM stereo radios?

Thanks for any ideas.

George
