I second that. I was also semi-stranded by the crank sensor. (Semi in that
after waiting about 45 minutes, the engine cranked and I went on my way.)
Conventional wisdom is that the crank sensor fails as a result of the
effects of a leaking water pump, but mine failed before the water pump.
