Sounds just like a normal one. Looks like the surface is speckled, or if
it's farther along, the whole layer will be worn off, out to the edges.
After this, the cams can start to pit, which is why it's not a bad idea to
check everything and replace iffy ones.
All that being said, regular street cars that get 3k oil changes are
probably good to 80-100k. But if you are in there at 60k, why not check.
