[Shotimes] subframe bolts torque

Mike,

Is there any chance this noise is more like the noise you
get from a plastic straw pulled up and down in the plastic
lid of a soft drink?

If so, the culprit is the ROD shifter slide mechanism under
the car. The noise happens when you get on and off the gas,
even the slightest amount.

Go under the car, find the shifter box hanging down under
the console, Look up and you will see the slide mechanism.
This gets dry/dirty. Spray it down with WD-40 or something
similar to CLEAN it, and then spray with a lithium grease or
something that will stick to keep it lubed for a while.
This will need to be done about every year on a car driven
regularly.
