Hi Jason,
You are one picky dude! If it goes straight on the road's center, it's OK.
If the brake light works, it's OK.

So, you've got a tight engine, a good auto trans, and a clean car and
interior. That's more than many, so count your blessings.

I wish I only had be concerned about brake light switch travel ;-).
