I took my '94 to a Ford dealer here for a timing belt and water pump
replacement (the pump was leaking), service manager said you don't have to
take the belt off to change the water pump, "we looked it up in the book"
it's 3.5 hours for each, if you want us to do it it will be 7 hours at
$68/hr. This is one of the 2 SVT dealers we have in Nashville, and they had
to look it up in the book ?
I took it to another shop that a friend owns, his head mechanic raised the
hood, immediately closed it and said "I ain't touchin' it."
I did finally get the work done at Steve Williams Ford in Lawrenceburg, TN.
They did the timing belt, water pump, front crank seal, and an oil change
for $271, had to buy the crank seal from them, I already had the belt and
pump.

Good Luck,
