Know what I found to work good was an old spark plug boot.

Actually, mine broke about 2 weeks before Tulsa.  Spent a Saturday locating
the clip.  Then 20 minutes putting everything back together.  Been working
ever since.  I need to put the piece of fuel line in there, next time I
have the chance.
