Yeah, Dave, you can say M0r0n on this list :-)

One thing that everyone seems to be missing about the Jasper Engines
warranty, is the fact that a JE agent shop MUST install the engine to
receive the warranty!!!  Effectively, the price of this engine goes from
~$5k to just over $7k.  One cannot install a JE engine in their own garage
(unless, of course, they are also a JE agent), and get the warranty.  If you
plan on installing this engine yourself, or getting Goober down at the local
greaspit to install it, you are paying over $3k TOO MUCH!!  If you have the
$7k just lying around and feel you need a rebuilt engine in your SHO, by all
means get the JE engine.  If I had $7k to throw down, I doubt it would be on
the SHO.  It would probably find it's way as a down payment on either an STi
or Evo.  OTOH, I would rebuild the current engine, or get another
rebuildable and save about $5k.
