Funny, I disagree greatly on that one.

I had occasion to climb in and around a few Monaros in Australia, and I 
find it to be a very clean and attractive shape.

If that's dull, it's still more attractive than any other GM product 
(Corvette not excepted), any current BMW except the 5-series sedan, any 
current Mercedes except the SL, any current Audi except the S6 Avant, any 
Volvo, etc.  In fact, what it looks like more than anything else is a 
better-done Volvo C70.

Attractive, to me, does not mean loads of slapped-on crap as GM 
(particularly Pontiac) has done so well over the years.
