So turbo = rice in your opinion? Curious. I will let the next TT Porsche owner I see know that. Oh, it comes with a turbo stock, so that doesn't matter? Then the guys that spends tons to turbo thier Vipers, Vettes and Mustangs. And no...I will not learn...because I learned a long time ago that I will never have the quickest/cheapest car. Heck, for a few thousand you can build a Fastiva that does 10's. 'At the end of the day, you are still driving a Festiva' blah blah blah. Sorry, but the ONLY BMW's that have any appeal to me are from the last few years. I would LOVE a late model M3 or M5, no doubt, but even at 27 with an immaculate driving record, the insurance would kill me, and there is no way I could afford the purchase price on a firefighter salary. And don't worry Ron, impressing you, or anyone, is not my agenda. I got the car because I love the SHO. At the end of the day, I see no disgrace in driving a Taurus. BTW, are you saying you have got around to appreciating a good, quality product? And how many SHO's do you own? Again, curious. Plus, all the BMW and Porsche meets I have been to make me want to pull my hair out. Most of those elitists (not all I know) have nothing on the SHO community, and that will keep me coming back long after I have 'grown to appreciate a good, quality product'.

Toolman (at the end of the day just driving a 420hp Taurus)

A turbo BMW?? Sorry, I've never seen one. Of course, none of my BMW-owning
friends are ricers.

Tim....you will learn....there is always someone who can spend less and
spank your ass. Sorry, but my level of being impressed does not extend to
SHOs versus.BMWs. When the day is done, you are still driving a Taurus.

Now, take one of your SHOs and build one up like the one you bought used for
pennies on what it cost to build. No, I don't want your keys, I'll take the
keys of the BMW that you beat.

Don't fret too much, when I was your age I felt the same way. You will get
around to appreciating a good, quality product as time goes on.
