Contact Al Fitz for a throttle cable, if you really need one (alfitz@alfitz.com or www.alfitz.com, look for the "parts request
form"). First see if you can't improve matters by lubricating your existing cable. Also inspect the springs on the throttle body.

We've had long threads about thermostats. The Ford thermostat is preferred if you run track days, a blower, or an otherwise
heat-challenged SHO. The Ford thermostat has "jiggle valves," small openings through which air bubbles can pass, so the system can
better be "burped." It has been alleged on this list that the Ford thermostat also opens a bit wider than some aftermarket
thermostats, for somewhat increased flow. For daily drivers, many of us run whatever thermostat is cheap and locally available, and
we do fine.

Remind me not to put any "colorful metaphors" in my posts anymore.... =)
Anyone know where I can get a new gas pedal cable? They have been
discontinued, and mine is stiff as all hell. Also, FPN sells a thermostat
for 19.99... but I just called advanced auto parts and theirs is 6.50 + 1.04
for the gasket... why such a difference in price? The cheap one is probably
an aftermarket while the fpn is probably motorcraft, but which should I go
for?
