Yeap, I've tried them all.  The Ford T-Stat is the ONLY one that will flow
enough to keep the coolant temps down under any-sort-of extreme conditions.
Take any of the other T-Stats and compare it to the Ford, the "flow orifice"
is much larger.  I've found that eventhough the initial temp is cooler using
a Shaw 180, after just a few moments of 'aggressive driving', your SHO will
run warmer as compared to the Ford.  My set-up is particularly sensitive to
coolant temps because I'm running the ORIGINAL radiator that came with my
'89 SHO  :)
