The stock unit will hold up for a long time, disc wears really well if you
don't pound it. I got 93k out of my last one in the 92, and the current has
about 45 or 50k. It'll slip a little if I beat it hard at the drags, but
under normal street driving it still probably has another year or 2 left in
it.
4 clutch's in 100k, something is wrong.
The ceramic TOB (in theory) will reduce wear on the fingers, which is
usually what wears out first. If you are going to a "high" performance
clutch, with a higher friction material, it'll probably wear out faster.
Most of the abrasive linings wear the flywheel, pressure plate, and
themselves faster than the soft organic disc.
I guess my point is the stock unit will probably last the longest, assuming
you can keep wear off the pressure plate fingers.
what's your clutch doing now that makes you think it's worn out? slipping?
pedal real stiff? not releasing?
