[Shotimes] No tachometer action, good spark, no start - WHY?

Hi all,

A problem with friend's '89 SHO...

Did an engine swap, and now we're getting a no-start condition.. 

Tach doesn't move while turning over the motor yet the spark is bright and 
nice..

What could the problem be? (everything's connected right...)
