Has anybody pulled the trans out of a 94. Can it be done? If so how was it
done and what was the difficulty rate. Plus what is the average price to get
one overhauled with out the labor to pull the trans. Reason asking is my trans
died today. Symptons are that there is no 1 or 2 gear. When first taking off
rpms shoot up to 4k then trans kicks into 2nd. Then once again rpms go to 3k
this time. This is when it starts moving. afterwards it drives fine till I
come to complete stop. There is no check engine light so I dought it's a
solenoid. Im thinking more of the torque converter. The car only has 68k
miles. The services have been done at 30k and 59k. Is it common to have
problems around this mileage. Any info on this would be great so I can get my
SHO back on the road.
