Actually,
I gave him back his $100.  I don't like to cause people to not like me, and 
really, $100 vs. what he could do to my 1968 Mustang(trailered showcar), 47 
stude pickup, 56 chevy 1/2 ton, 94 mustang, and really all the cars I have 
laying around here, in spite because I took the $100 off of him that would 
have bought his mother that operation she really needed.  Or he spent the 
$100 on the car that his wife told him to buy diapers with... Who knows...   
I don't like to have enemies. especially since I do a lot of bodywork out of 
my garage here, and most of it is by word of mouth.  I don't need bad 
toungues floating around, since I am batting a pretty decent average on 
customer satisfaction.

but yeah, I considered keeping the $100 for pain and suffering basically. 
and the 6-10 people that I had to shove off because the car was sold... I 
hate selling something liek this to someone not on this list. they don't 
seem to appreciate the SHO as much as someone who subscribes to a daily 
mailing list.

That was a deposit, so you wouldn't sell to someone else.
Regardless of whether or not they end up buying the car, that is YOUR 
hundred bucks.  I hope you pointed out to the deadbeat that your time has 
been wasted, but luckily your time is worth about $100, so you'll call it 
even.
