Thanks Don. I didn't get a chance to look at anything today since I had
to go the the exhaust shop this morning. On the drive there, there was
no brake smell and the rotors seemed to be about the same temp. Nothing
on the way home either. When I got home I was on my knees admiring the
exhaust and I saw that the parking brake cable was drooping under the
car without it being disengaged. So I assume this is my problem. Any
way to tighten the cable, or does it need to be replaced? This seems to
have happened all of a sudden, but I haven't had my car for about a
month now. Everything worked fine before that.

Yes, the parking brake mechanism CAN make the brake drag.
Check out the back of the caliper. You can see the E-brake
cable come to the caliper to a lever where the return spring
is also attached. You can take a screwdriver or pliers and
"park" it back on the locating pin that keeps it from
over-rotating when opening up. All easy to spot.
The usual cause for an e-brake that won't release are the
cables at the back. I had to replace those on my '89 at
about 120,000 miles of midwest weather!
Another cause of dragging can be the slider pins, and that
is tougher to fix. Remove wheel, and see if the caliper
will slide back and forth even a little.
Remove the bolts and see if the slider pins are able to
move. Clean and re-lube (if you can get them out) with
Dielectric grease. Replace rubber boot if torn or missing.
