I believe that the T5 manual trans is what uses the Aerostar bellhousing
to bolt to the SHO block. Personally, I would not use a T5 but get a
Tremec instead. The T5 is a POS. The tremec will be hard shifting but at
least it will last a bit longer. The input shaft bearing won't go out
every few thousand miles or break under moderate use like a T5 would.

I really Want a Manual Tranny and I heard they made a Manual in a
Aerostar 
and somebody said thats the tranny that would bolt up  but im gonna look
at 
the junkyards and see what i can come up with
