[Shotimes] Idler tensioner pulley bearing revisted, yet again

www.FordPartsNetwork.com listed both assemblies for my 95MTX when I thought
one of mine was going bad, but I didn't need them after all so I don't know
for sure if they were correct. Not cheap though. After going through the
menus for 1995 Ford Taurus, the results were

Maintenance and lubrication, Engine service, Belts & Pullys, Serpentine
Idler Pulley, Sable, Taurus, 3.0L Sho, Pulley, 4 Ribbed Belt	$80.71

Maintenance and lubrication, Engine service, Belts & Pullys, Serpentine
Idler Pulley, Sable, Taurus, 3.0L Sho, Pulley, 6 Ribbed Belt	$101.90

BTW, my noise problem appears to be the power steering pump, though the
pulley bearing feels fine. Think I'm going to change the fluid and maybe
try some of that Lucas snake oil.

Steve,

I still have Paul Nimz post on the 3.0L idler pulleys that you were
referring too. I don't think Paul listed the correct part number. The part
that you received from Ford is the 3.4L water pump tensioner assembly that
fits on the rear of the engine. What you are needing is the serpentine
idler pulleys that fit on the front of the 3.4L V8. There are three of
them, all the same. I'm not sure of the correct part number, though.

was the correct item to donate the bearing into my pulleys.

pulley, it also has a very stout spring. It looks like the center of the
spring has a bushing that can be pressed out, but I don't want to ruin an
overpriced part if I can help it.

have one or both, drop me an e-mail.
