OK, I need some help from the SHO computer geeks out there.

A couple of weeks ago, I got an e-mail that I could not
delete. Then another problem:

I would not be able to see any of the content on some known
good messages in my inbox from the list and others. If I
would click on those messages, I would get either a blank or
the last message I looked at. When I went back to those,
they would be blank.

Virus maybe? I have Norton up to date, and it says no.

For a while I could get rid of those "blank" messages but
that original message was still there. I could hit delete,
and that one message would go to the trash bin, and I could
empty the bin and it would be gone from there. Next time I
go to my inbox, the message is back, and indicated as unread.

It also has a date on it now of 12-31-69, and I know the
message came in a month ago.

It used to be I could eventually delete all the destroyed
messages and clean up the inbox, but the last time this
happened, the blank messages (with their subject lines
intact) just won't delete now, leaving a cluttered inbox.

Also sometimes I can call up the messed up messages and
there will be a huge amount of clutter, and the original
message. Wish I had printed one of those out, I can't seem
to get it to do that again.

I tried copying the contents of the inbox to another file to
see what happened, but only about 1/2 the messages went
over, the bad ones didn't go.

Anyone have a clue? Please reply directly to me unless you
feel the reply would help others.
