[Shotimes] Radar/Laser Detectors

Cheap whistler model. Front and rear detection. No bells or whistles are
needed, I just want one that goes off when a RADAR or LASER device is active
nearby. I paid $49.99 at a Wal-Mart, and it does the job fine. Different
sound for different types of signals has been nice, because there's a
Walgreen's near my house that sets off the detector over 1/2 mile down the
street because the door is in line with the street. The local cops set off a
different sound because they use a different type of signal. I feel mine is
the best because it works the best for me, at a good price.
With a RADAR/LASER detector, what good ticket avoidance stories could I
possibly have to tell? Oh yeah, there was that one night, where the detector
went off, and I slowed down...
