Heck....I've been taping good commercials since the year after I got my first VCR,
in 1980.  I have hours and hours (and HOURS) of them.  Like Lindsay Wagner hawking
'87 TBird Turbos, and gushing about her black Mustang GT convertible, and making
jokes about Chevy vs. Ford pickups.  

Some of them are hilarious!!

They'll be valuable some day!  I can sell them to Dick Clark in 2025.  LOL!!
