[Shotimes] MY 89 Headlights randomly dont work. MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH? HELPPLEASE

If memory servers correctly it was a headlight switch recall.

You'll want to check both the fuse panel in the driver's floorboard along
with the maxi fuses in the block under the hood. But most likely, your
problem is either an old multi-function switch or an overheated and thus
melted dash switch. I've replaced both on my 92.

I was driving my car one night and then all of a sudden my headlights dont
work anymore, when i go to high beam it highbeams but it doesnt stay in
"high beam" mode and the headlights dont work. all my other lights work,
what could be the problem? anything similar? maybe the multifunction switch?
i checked in the fuse box and and no fuse was blown, unless there is a
second fuse i dont know about.
