Actually, you can't really go by the tears. The bolster on a Gen 1 can wear
out well before 86K, and a lack of care of the Gen 1 perforated leather will
let it die.

Hey, I'm bidding on it since it is a Plus that looks pretty straight and
pretty complete. For what I'm willing to spend on it, it doesn't matter
whether it's 86K, 186K, or 286K for that matter.

Did you look at the driver's seat though?  There's WAY more than 86,000
miles on it!
