[Shotimes] exhaust questions

I just had a custom exhaust made up. Its 2.5" stainless with 2 of the
new stainless Flowmaster 50 series mufflers. It also has a resonator
that is about 18" long. I would not remove the resonator at all.
Before this system, the car had another system on it that was installed
by the previous owner. It was the same size in aluminized steel, and
had the same mufflers, again in aluminized. There was no resonator and
it was extremely loud and raspy when cold on at around 2500-3500 RPM.
This new system is quieter and absolutely no rasp, even after sitting
for a few days with no startups. I am very happy with it. I have a few
pictures of the exhaust on my website.

Subject: [Shotimes] exhaust questions

Just found two holes in my 2 year old Dynomax mufflers. I don't like
the
sound of them anyways, so I was looking for some suggestions. Talked to
a
muffler place here and they said elimination the resonator and perhaps
some
MagnaFlow mufflers would be good for the sound I'm looking for. I'm
looking
for a deep tone, more like a Mustang. I know I'll never get the Mustang
sound and I completely understand that, I just want a deeper tone
without
the ricer sound at the higher RPM's. Any suggestions on the resonator
idea,
and mufflers? Thanks alot, I know this question has been brought up
before.
