[Shotimes] Buzzing/grinding on startup

I have a problem that, to me, sounds like the starter drive not retracting
immediately after I let loose of the key. I can't quite tell whether the
ignition switch is sticky or the starter drive spring is lazy. Could it be
the same problem?
