[Shotimes] CAI snorkel project

Well the CAI project continues... Thought I had all the parts I needed to
finish putting this thing together.  The pvc tube I got to go through the
plate I made that attaches to the fender well is a little bit short to have
the rubber tube I got and have the air filter attached too.  Quick question,
for those of you that have the SS snorkel, how did you get the air filter
inside the fender well???  Do you have to remove the tire and splash guard?
Obviously the air resonator won't come out any other way, and I didn't see
any other way to get the filter in either.   Sounds a little riduculous to
have to remove the tire and splash guard every time you need to remove the
air filter...thanks for any help!
