I think from what I have seen over the years, most
people run 5W-30.  If you must run it in extreme cold,
the 0W-30 would be a better decision for cold starts.
Mobil1 is a very good synthetic oil anyway, as well as
Redline and Amsoil.   BUT, I believe Amsoil and Redline
are the only true synthetics as the others use some Dino base
oils.  (didn't Castrol sue Mobil over this awhile back ?)

I know on my 87 Subaru Turbo, it likes 20W-50 because the
heavier weight gets more pressure built up for the oiling system.
Subaru Example: Some guys run a 10w-30 and get a clicking,
then switch to a 20W-50 and then it goes away.
