George:
You can change just the bearing for a MUCH reduced price. I helped Tom
Leeth out a while back. He was going to do a write up but I have not seen it
yet. Here is a message I sent him that may help.
.
.
The 35 mm ID x 55 mm OD x 20 mm Wide Nissan A/C clutch bearing and a
replacement for the timing belt idler bearing as well. The NTN
2TS2-DF0716LH number for the timing belt idler crossed into BCA 5106WCC.
Measure very carefully how far the old bearing is pushed in from the pulley
section. There is nothing to key the correct location and the bearing can be
pushed completely thru the pulley. This is important because it affects the
accessory belt alignment. My local bearing shop is:
Houma Bearing Service

Mine has been in for about 1800 miles and works fine. I used my bench vise
and sockets to press in the new one. I did not know how it came apart so
used a hammer and punch (Brass) to knock out the old one. It's got a funky
sheet metal cover to keep junk off the face of the bearing next to the belt.
Try not bend it up or it won't stay tight and flat. I think running without
the shield would be alright but the bearing probably will need changing more
often.

car needs (URGENTLY!!) the accessory

(he,

We'd take all
