Hey, us hillbillies and rednecks still say warsh! I'm from Detroit, so
I'm really not a redneck or hillbilly, but I play one on the Internet
:-)

I had an 8th grade history teacher (the old bat), she always pronounced
"pizza" (peatsa) as "pisa" (as in the Leaning Tower of), and would
always "correct" everyone when they pronounced it correctly. I flipped
through my dictionary (grand ol' Webster), and found "pizza", and showed
her the correct pronounciation, which she immediately declared as being
wrong. I must have really p!$$ed her off, because she flunked me all 3
quarters (why did they call them quarters, when there were only 3
sessions of 12 weeks each?). Pissed my parents off too, but they seen
the 1st quarter that she was being unfair to me (marking an entire
answer wrong because she didn't like the way I wrote my cursive "F", LOL
she didn't like my "F" so she gave me an "F" :-), when I showed them my
tests, and looked the answers up in either my history book, or the
encyclopedia. My Dad told me that as long as she was going to flunk me
anyway, might as well make her life hell :-) I love my dear ol' Dad :-)
