[Shotimes] Can I just take my intake to the car wash?

I took 10 cans of berryman's to the carwash and did *almost* what you're
intending to do.  The only difference is I removed my DIS (and
everything else) from the intake first.  Why take a chance?

I concur with the "keep it out of your face" advice!

I finally got around to fixing my 332 CE light today. I pulled it apart
per the FAQ and looked for the two 'nostrils' I didn't see them. After
some furious spraying with Berryman's, I can finally see them. They are
both completely clogged. I pulled the little plugs out of the end and
the bottom of the passageway that leads to the EGR valve and cannot
dislodge the crud! I tried coat hangers, screw drivers and I have made
just a small dent in the blockage.

was the procedure I followed.

Anyhow, can I just cover up the DIS and take the intake to my local
self-serve car wash and blast away? What I'm planning on doing is
alternating Berryman's and steaming hot, soapy water. Any downsides?
